Paris Hilton’s official website is infected with a virus!

Several tech news sites are reporting that Paris Hilton’s official website ParisHilton.com is spreading a malicious Trojan program known as “Trojan-Spy.Zbot.YETH.”

ParisHilton.com has probably been hacked since October 2008, and it has been abandoned with no updates since 2006.

“Visitors to the site are presented with a pop-up window urging them to download software in order to enhance their viewing of the site. Whether they click “yes” or “no” on this window, the site then tries to download a malicious program, known as Trojan-Spy.Zbot.YETH, from another Web site,” Arnnet AU reported. “Once installed, the Trojan steals online information and tries to install more malicious software on the victim’s computer.”

Most antivirus are currently unable to detect the Trojan program.

So don’t go to ParisHilton.com, for now.

Such a shame, someone should fix this. I think Warner Bros funded and worked the site with the debut of her album.

Hopefully if Paris finds a new record label, they will fix up everything. I wonder if she’s still going around looking for a new label? I hope Jive/Zomba picks her up.
