I know that a few members have already put quill to parchment for some fine poems in honour of Paris here already. So I thought I would tentatively open a thread just for that purpose. And I'll start off with my own humble and faltering but grateful heartfelt effort:

Little Elysium

Paris,
Little goddess, Little Elysium,
Standing proud, triumphant, iconic
And unique among all others, still
Beaming brightly in victory over
Tempests of detractors and those
Who speak with forked envy.

So how else can I but answer
To the query 'who is your favourite
Celebrity?', Who else would even
Begin to suffice in your stead?

Always you were there, Little Elysium,
From the first episode I saw of The
Simple Life, you amused, charmed
And addicted me, bringing simple joy that
I would know not where else to look for,
That joy stays through multiple viewings,
Through hospitals, through clouds of
Depression and the banks of the river Banality.

So here's to you, Little Elysium,
Excitement, presence, glamour,
Elegance - surely they were invented for you
Alone? Minx of the Airwaves, Ray of Sunshine,
Heed not your detractors, critics or jealous polls,
Just live your life, continue to be a voice in the
Wilderness, an icon of confidence and that
Pursuit of Happiness which can haunt or drive
Us all! Long ago, I stopped believing in false hope,
Miracles, imaginary deities and merely wishing
That something was or wasn't so. But never have I stopped
Believing in you or your gift. Radiate for ever more,
Little Elysium.

Fantastic! I think that's really beautiful and a wonderful, moving tribute. Nice work, Django!

I have half written another one myself, but I'm saving it for Paris' birthday in Feb. I'll send it to her with my birthday card, then post it on here on the day.

Thank you enbis78 :) I look forward to your next work and hope Paris reads it on the day - a wonderful reminder of what her fans really think of her. I'd send a card myself if I had an address.

Hey Django,
You can write to Paris via her company (that's what I'm doing). The address is:

Paris Hilton Entertainment
250 North Canon Drive
Second Floor
Beverly Hills, CA 90210

And for anyone else who wants to send a card (the special day as I'm sure most people know is Feb 17). Probably best to get them off fairly early (especially if you live outside USA) as the mail will have to be passed on to her. But it's a great chance to let her know how much she is loved and appreciated. As many people as possible, please write!

Nice peom, Django. It's very creative! It's also well written and well done, as usual. :) Too bad, I suck at poems lol.

BTW, enbis78 is right. You can send it to that address. You can use Paris Hilton, instead of "Paris Hilton Entertainment". The latter is more for business, hehe.

From what I've heard, she usually check her mail and sends autographs with that picture on her website (parishilton.com).

Also, just to let you know, I've added your poem in the "Poem" section!

Thank you on all counts, Enkil :)

I'm pleased that people responded well to the poem.

I wish I could have written Paris in jail, but I tried doing it through another fansite's project that mysteriously went down and stopped working properly as the deadline approached. So I'm guessing that the project never actually happened. Oh well, that particular occasion, it was just to support Paris and I never included my address.

if someone knows Paris Hilton's home address he could send mails to her address...
(simple curiosity)
...would it be more simple she read mails arrived at home or at Paris Hilton' Entertainment???...
is there someone who sent mails to her home???

I don't have her new home's address. But I think she prefers reading her fan mails at Paris Hilton Entertainment because it's part of her work, and she could read them whenever she has the time.

It would probably be more appropriate to send them to Paris Hilton Entertainment.
